Welcome to the Beginner's Guide to God Website!

Hopefully you got here after reading my book and clicking on the link. But however you got here, I'm pleased you made it, as I'm sure you'll enjoy some of the things that are shared on this website.

Why did I write the book, and what is it all about?

Well, as you will see, there is a subtitle to the book (And we’re all beginners), and let’s not kid ourselves, when it comes to understanding who or what God is, we are definitely all beginners. But even though we might all feel very humble in the face of such a huge and fascinating subject, this should not stop us investigating. In fact, the purpose of writing the book was to encourage readers to do just that; to find out what God, religion and spirituality are all about, without getting bogged down and confused by the millions of different opinions which are enough to scare people away from the topic.

You may be a confirmed atheist, in which case this is probably not the book for you, but if you are an agnostic, meaning that you are not sure about the existence of God, or a confused believer as I was, then this is a book that you should definitely read.

The world is becoming more morally and spiritually bankrupt every day. People are turning away from God and religion because they are too confusing and do not appear to have the solutions that the world so desperately needs. This book was written to remove the confusion by providing logical explanations to the many contradictions that cause people to question their belief in God.

If you have read ‘A Beginner’s Guide to God’, I invite you to provide feedback as to what you thought of the book. This may be positive, negative or neutral, and if you feel that something in the book requires clarification, I will be happy to enlarge on it. All reasonable queries will be responded to by email, and in order to share everyone’s thoughts and provide an on-going learning experience, we will be featuring your comments on the website. If you have not read the book, I invite you to do so, and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

If you enjoy the book, and know someone else that you think would benefit from reading it, it would be appreciated if you could mention it to them, or invite them to visit this website. Hopefully you will also find some topics that interest you in the index to the left of this page. Enjoy, and thank you for dropping by.
